We’re not just throwing balls because we want to,we’re dodging for a cause.
Dodge for a Cure is a not-for-profit charity dodgeball tournament. Its intentions are two-fold:
Based on 2007 estimates, 1 out of 4 Canadians is expected to die from cancer.
In 2013, an estimated 1,500 people will die of cancer in the province.
This year, an estimated 3,300 new cases of cancer will be diagnosed in the province.
On average, over 500 Canadians will be diagnosed with cancer every day.
